Hall open again!

Having missed you all so much throughout COVID times, we are so pleased to finally reopen. The hall is once again available to hire, and we will have our own events and classes on as well.

The Mount Hall
The Hall is a single room roughly 8m x 10m with vaulted ceiling, small stage, with an official capacity of 80 people (this would be standing room only).

There's a small kitchen with tea/coffee facilities, gas hob, microwave, and sink.  There are toilets with baby changing, lots of toys (mainly for ages 0-5), and indoor/outdoor beanbags.  We also have trestle tables, lots of smaller tables, bench seating around the edges of the room, and lots of chairs. 

Hire for the hall is £15 per hour, and includes 30 mins of free tidying time at the end of your event. The hire normally also includes use of the Field of Dreams.

Field of Dreams
Outside there is a large enclosed grassed space known as the Field of Dreams. This is suitable for having a party, bouncy castle, outdoor games... On hiring the Field, you have exclusive use of the area, and can also have access to the hall toilet facilities, but not the rest of the building.

Hire for the Field of Dreams is £5 per hour. We've had people hire bouncy castles for both indoors and outdoors.  It's really a blank canvas to make your event as special and personal as suits you.

 

Volunteering

If you would like to volunteer to help with the Mount, please get in touch on mountcommunity@gmail.com We have lots of socially distant volunteering efforts going on, and many hands make light work. The more the merrier!

We've had a few people ask us how to donate to the Mount after they enjoyed spending time in our Field of Dreams. We've set up a JustGiving page to help us raise funds to update our garden equipment.
