The Mount hall is available to hire, and includes use of the Field of Dreams.

Bookings are made by contacting the Mount to check availability. Please read the information below before making a booking enquiry. To make an enquiry, click the button at the bottom of this page. 

Before your event, you will receive a door code. This will enable you to access the hall for the duration of your hire and your code will ONLY be active during this time. The door will lock when it shuts, so once your event is over, you can leave by the main entrance and close the door behind you.

The Mount Hall Hire

The Hall is a single room roughly 8m x 10m with vaulted ceiling, small stage, with a capacity of 80 people (this would be standing room only).


There's a small kitchen with tea/coffee facilities, hob and oven, microwave, and sink.  There are toilets with baby changing, lots of toys (mainly for ages 0-5, please click here for a list of what's available), and indoor/outdoor beanbags.  We also have trestle tables, lots of smaller tables, bench seating around the edges of the room, and lots of chairs.

The Field of Dreams is a large enclosed grassed space on The Mount grounds. This is suitable for having a party, bouncy castle, outdoor games... On hiring The Mount, you have use of the area along with the hall. 

Hire fee is £25 per hour and the minimum hire period is 1 hour. A cleaning deposit of £30 is required and will be fully refunded after your hire providing the hall has been returned to the same condition as you found it.

Your hire duration should include any set up time, your event duration, and time at the end to return the hall to the same condition that you found it in. For example, if you want to host a two hour party for your guests, you might need 30 minutes before they arrive to decorate, set out tables etc, and 30 minutes after they leave to sweep and clean. This would be a 3 hour hire and therefore cost £75 plus £30 refundable cleaning deposit. Once you send the booking enquiry and it's been reviewed, then the final cost will be confirmed via email.


Cleaning materials are provided to sweep the floor, clean the kitchen and touch points to ready the hall for the next event. This is detailed in the 'Information for hirers' document, please click here to view.  

The Mount is also available to hire for a full day at a cost of £250.00.
