Both the Mount Hall and the Field of Dreams are available to hire.
The Mount is managed by volunteers who will open and close the hall for you. They will be available to open the hall at the start of your hire time, and will return to close the hall at the end of the hire period. The hall cannot be left unattended during your hire period.
The Mount Hall Hire
The Hall is a single room roughly 8m x 10m with vaulted ceiling, small stage, with a capacity of 80 people (this would be standing room only).
There's a small kitchen with tea/coffee facilities, gas hob, microwave, and sink. There are toilets with baby changing, lots of toys (mainly for ages 0-5, please click here for a list of what's available), and indoor/outdoor beanbags. We also have trestle tables, lots of smaller tables, bench seating around the edges of the room, and lots of chairs.
The hire normally also includes use of the Field of Dreams.
Hire fee is £15 per hour and the minimum hire period is 1.5 hours. 30 minutes are included in every hire to return the hall to the same condition as you found it.
Please see the table below to help calculate your fees for the Mount hall hire. Your hire duration should include any set up time, your event duration, and time at the end to return the hall to the same condition that you found it in. Cleaning materials are provided to sweep the floor and clean the touch points to ready the hall for the next event.
For example, if you want to host a two hour party for your guests, you might need 30 minutes before they arrive to decorate, set out tables etc, and 30 minutes after they leave to sweep and clean. This would be a 3 hour hire and therefore cost £37.50 (2.5 hours chargeable plus 30 minutes on us).
The Mount is also available to hire for a full day at a cost of £150.
Field of Dreams Hire
Outside there is a large enclosed grassed space known as the Field of Dreams. This is suitable for having a party, bouncy castle, outdoor games... On hiring the Field, you have exclusive use of the area, and can also have access to the hall toilet facilities, but not the rest of the building.
Hire for the Field of Dreams is £5 per hour, and we kindly request that you clean all touch points ready for the next event. Cleaning materials are provided.
