Hall Closure due to Covid-19
As you're no doubt aware, the current pandemic is having lots of fall out effects on local businesses and events. We are, at heart, a charity designed to support and celebrate our community. As a socially responsible community venue, we have taken the difficult decision to close the Mount to any gatherings until the government guidance changes.
If you already have a booking with us, we would like to re-arrange your event at the Mount to a future date when the world has calmed down a little. We will do our best to accommodate the date which best suits you, or we will refund your deposit if you would rather cancel.
Please either message us here, or email us on
We look forward to welcoming you back to the hall soon. Keep safe and stay well.
The Mount Community Association Committee
Our Field of Dreams is open and you are welcome to play or have picnics there. Bear in mind the recommended social distance, keep 2 meters away from other parties, remain with your group, and avoid contact with anyone else who may be there. Keep an eye on any small people and make sure they don’t venture into the Wild Garden without an adult, and please take your rubbish home and clean up after your dog.
We also have some garden plans which we'll post about soon. We should be able to work outside while keeping enough social distance between us, and we would love your help.
Please check our Facebook page for updates throughout the summer.
